Start your day early and meet your guide at your hotel.

Then drive to Memphis, the first capital city of Egypt. Visit the open-air museum that displays some of the remains of this ancient city. See the colossal statue of King Ramses II, one of the greatest rulers of Egypt, and the alabaster sphinx of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the few female pharaohs. You can also see other statues, stelae, and fragments that belong to different periods of Egyptian history.
